For me, and for so many other Peregrines (parents who have outlived children) ...it is every month of the year.
On September 14, 2008, at 3:00 a.m., my beloved son Cameron succumbed to brain cancer (Anaplastic Astrocytoma). He was 13.

The hard truth: Pediatric cancer receives only 2–4% of total cancer research funding. That number has not changed in 17 years.
Before he transitioned, Cameron said: “Papa, I want to help other kids stuck in hospitals like me.”
His vision evolved to become The Lost Travelers Club - a 100% volunteer initiative providing grief counseling, community, and retreats for parents worldwide who have outlived our beloved children. We help break through isolation and step back into the world with purpose and power.
We rely exclusively on donations to sustain this work. Every month, new families join this journey that no parent should ever have to walk alone.
