Peregrine perched atop this mountain,
Solitary against the boundless blue.
Wind whispering secrets of eternity,
I breathe the vastness of time.
Each heartbeat a reminder:
Now is all we truly possess, for
Tomorrow is not promised.
The sun, our celestial source,
Paints the sky with ever-changing hues,
A masterpiece that will never be again.
In this singular breath,
I hold universes.
Clouds and thoughts drift like mares’ tails,
Yet I remain anchored in this instant.
Yesterday's shadows and tomorrow's mist
Fade against the vibrant now.
Here, I stand at the crown of the world,
Small, yet infinite.
Everything, yet nothing.
Speck of consciousness
Awash in the cosmic static.
A trinity contained within in this, my moment:
Gift, Challenge, Revelation.
Quantum paradox unfolding.
It slips away even as I grasp it, Fleeting as the wildflowers of Spring
That dot the Extremaduran meadows below.
In the power of now, I transmute.
Forging from sulfur the strength of age,
Distilling from mercury the wisdom of silence,
And refining from salt the courage to simply be.
Here, suspended between earth and sky,
The Peregrine glides.
Eternal witness to the vibrant now,
At home in the heart of impermanence.
