The Twelve Thresholds refer to twelve distinct seven-year stages of a man’s life, from childhood to elderhood, each a natural opportunity for reflection, transformation, ritual, celebration,
and conscious renewal.

Dear Brother,
If you are reading these words, you may be feeling a quiet call:
a longing for a kind of gathering that has almost vanished from our time.
OmiGaia: The Twelve Thresholds is a sacred journey for men. An opportunity to come together as we once did — not to dominate or compete, but to reflect, share, heal, and step consciously into each new season of life.
This quarterly circle welcomes all who identify as MEN
who feel drawn to walk this path in community and ritual.
We begin by honoring five foundational elements that will guide us
through every threshold:

EARTH: grounding, stability, aging, embodiment

WATER: flow, feeling, adaptability, grief

FIRE: transformation, vitality, courage, creative power

AIR: clarity, presence, openness, spaciousness

ETHER: unity, transcendence, connection to the sacred
These five elements provide the ground and flow for
twelve distinct cycles of a man’s life,
from boyhood’s seedling years to elderhood’s final threshold ,
with rituals of reflection, purification, and renewal marking each passage.
This is not a lecture or workshop, but a living brotherhood where men witness and support one another as we cross these life thresholds. This work happens in a shared virtual space, through ritual, story, movement, breath, silence, and dialogue.
We gather not to become “stronger” in the old ways,
not to reclaim tired images of stoicism or control,
but to become tender, rooted, resilient, clear, humble, and wise.

OmiGaia is an inclusive circle for all who identify as MEN ,
(cisgender, transgender, and masculine-identified non-binary people*)
who feel called to explore masculine development and aging intentionally.
We refer to this as “Ageucation.”
*”Masculine-identified non-binary people” refers to those whose relationship to gender feels aligned with this path, even if their identity does not fit traditional categories.

This circle is dedicated to exploring masculine identity, development, and aging intentionally — reclaiming a form of gathering and reflection that men have lost in much of modern culture.
